Hampton Reads
We are excited to step up to the plate once again with our Hampton Reads Program! This year, we’re knocking it out of the park with two baseball-themed selections that are sure to be home runs with our students.
Students in PreK–2nd grade will receive a copy of Little Rhino: Dugout Hero, a heartwarming story that brings teamwork and determination from the dugout to the page. Students in grades 3–5 will receive Hero Two Doors Down, an inspiring true story that celebrates courage, friendship, and breaking barriers—both on and off the field.

Literacy GLOW Night!
Bassette families, get ready for an exciting evening of learning, fun, and GLOWING adventures! Join us for our Math & Literacy GLOW Night where students and families will explore engaging activities that make reading and math come to life in a whole new way!

During this glowing night of fun, families can look forward to:

The Panda Pride Gallery
Kindergarten students created projects/posters about famous African Americans for Black History Month.
Signature Experience
Selected students in fifth grade, presented their future careers to invited guests, family, and friends. They talked about their career goals, resumes, budgets, and future plans. They did a GREAT job!
21st Century News
21st Century students and parents created their own board games, which included Math, English, Science, and trivia topics.
Family Engagement
STEM Night
Families rotated through stations, and made ice cream, bouncy balls, and battery-operated fans.
Citizen of the Month Recognition
Students were recognized for the character trait of gratitude. Students were chosen because they are grateful, humble, and appreciative of what is done for them. These students often say thank you when something is given to them, and are quick to help others.
